About Us
Pastors Garth and Linda Collier and members of First Assembly of God in Springhill, Louisiana welcomes you to visit with us. If you do not have a church home then we invite you to become a part of our fellowship. We are loving family church. Our desire is to bring glory and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ. Our goal is to be a blessing to those we come in contact with and to help others to come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. First Assembly of God is located in Springhill, Louisiana, which is in the very northwest corner of the state. We are only about 2 miles from the Arkansas state line. We are a Bible believing Pentecostal church with a desire to meet the needs of others.

What We Believe WE BELIEVE the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. WE BELIEVE in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His future return to this earth in power and glory to rule over the nations. WE BELIEVE that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. WE BELIEVE that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. WE BELIEVE that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. WE BELIEVE in the Spirit-filled life, by whose indwelling, the Christian is given power to live a joyous and victorious life. WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
