Worship The Lord!
Worship is an integral part of the services at First Assembly. We worship in biblically based fashion and invite you to join in and praise the Lord.
- We worship by clapping our hands. (Psalm 47:1 - O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph)
- We worship by raising our hands as a symbol of adoration and submission to the Lord. (Psalm 63:4 - Thus I will bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in Thy name)
- We worship by shouting joyfully. (Psalm 66:1 - Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands)
- We worship by dancing before the Lord and playing instruments. (Psalm 149:3 - Let them praise His name in the dance: let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp)
- We worship with prophetic utterances of various types. (1 Corinthians 14:5 - I wiould that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesiedL for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying)
