Oriental Pepper-Beef Shreds

5 lg. bell peppers 1 Tbsp. Sugar
1-1/3 lbs. sirloin (beef) 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. soy sauce salt
1 Tbsp. sherry oil

Preparation:

Cut peppers in long slices.  Cut meat into pieces about 2 inches long and 1/4 inch shreds (easier to slice when about half way frozen).  Blend 2 Tbsp. soy sauce, sherry and sugar.  Marinate meat 10 minutes in mixture.  Heat oil in skillet. Add beef shreds and cook 3 minutes.  Add soy sauce and salt to taste; stir.  Serve with rice.  *Grated fresh ginger improves flavor.
